Will this be the biggest upset in the history of American Idol? Is there something seriously inaccurate here? Do you think those votes lied to the audience?Did America really get it right?

Without any doubt, a lot of Lambert fans were extremely pulverized over this news and cried out that Adam should have won "The American Idol" 2009 finale. Well , he might be the most acclaimed Idol contestant ever who have an excellent voice and probably the most overrated Idol of all time. But from the shocking dismissal of Danny Gokey to Kris Allen's victory it only shows that anything can possibly happen in IDOL.

I would say that I'm a huge Lambert fan.

And I myself think that Adam is a much, much better singer than Kris and so uniquely deserving to win American Idol. Well, no question about that. Considering the fact , he got a standing ovation from Simon Cowell when he sang Tears for fears ' "Mad World", which is obviously apparent that their are very few people born with that range and very few people can do what he can do. That is why it was indeed a complete shocker

that Kris Allen won and many were terribly disappointed with the season 8 finale results.

In that event , speculations have been running wild that probably Adam Lambert did not make it to top because of the Christian Vote. Danny Gokey's absence may probably be the reason why Allen gain the most votes. According to Adherents.com Christians make up over 76% of the religious population of the United States. Many of those Christians are evangelical , a little more fundamentalist than, say, Presbyterians (who have openly gay clergy). Those with more "traditional" beliefs that promote the family values, anti-gay line will more likely now vote for Kris Allen or not vote at all. Thus, there will be many voters out in the viewing audience that will not be able to consider voting for Adam because of his lifestyle. Whatever the reason is , people were still glad that Adam Lambert made it to the finale in spite of the controversy he had been through.

On the other hand, regardless of those who spoke against his triumph on winning over Lambert, Allen still have that soft-spoken humility that you would really appreciate. So, let's give Kris Allen a chance to prove what he can do. Kris is talented , he plays a lot of instrument and he's really genuine. People may think that he don't deserved to win but I think Kris was a worthy opponent for Adam.
