To prevent risks that can complicate or abort a pregnancy, there are quite several things you can do to help improve your and your baby’s health. Well, you’ll probably get advice from your doctor, family members, friends, co-workers, and even complete strangers about what you should do but one key to protecting the health of your child is to get regular medical examination from your doctor . This is actually done to avoid problems and complications during pregnancy. Another way is to get the proper amount of RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) for Folic Acid which actually helps reduce your baby’s risk for spinal bifida (a birth defect that involves the incomplete development of the spinal cord or its coverings). You also need to take prenatal vitamins and eat well ( diet needs include plenty of vitamins, minerals, fiber and protein). Pregnant women need to balance the food that they eat with a reasonable nutrition. Getting enough rest or sleep and getting plenty of exercise and watching your weight as your normally would is also a must do during pregancy. Aside from taking daily supplement needs and doctor’s care , a pregnant woman needs to focus on her child and must avoid negative thoughts. This may stress her out and may affect the baby as well. During pregnancy, every pregnant women should have an adequate prenatal exercise. This can help you relax muscles and joints, reduce complications and have a smooth delivery. Pregnant women should also consider maternity clothes for comfort and the wearing of tight pants, jeans and tight stockings should be avoided and definitely no high heels. When a pregnant woman needs to travel, it requires some special considerations, especially when traveling to foreign countries. And before it doing so, you need to seek advice from your doctor for your and your baby’s safety. One important thing also to consider during pregnancy is, if you have any pre-existing conditions, chronic problems or a family history of reproductive problems , you definitely need to talk it to your doctor.
Becoming pregnant can be a great joy in the life of a woman , however, there are several sacrifices that a pregnant woman must make for the good and better health of her unborn child. But one must always remember that moderation is the key to have a less complicated pregnancy and delivery. And now that your pregnant , taking care of yourself has never been more important and staying healthy during pregnancy really depends on you.

1. Unfasten the tabs and fasten them back on themselves so they don’t stick yo your baby, but don’t remove the dirty diaper yet.
2. Wipe away excess poop from his genital area with the corner of the diaper.
3. Grasp your baby by the ankles and lift his bottom off the changing table.
4. Fold the dirty diaper in half under your baby, unsoiled side up.
5. Use a baby wipe or wet cloth to clean your baby’s front thoroughly. For a girl, be sure to wipe from front to back. This will help minimize the possibility that bacteria will get into her and cause an infection.
6. Lift both of your baby’s legs and clean his bottom with a wipe or wet cloth.
7. Swap a clean diaper for the dirty one. The clean diaper’s top should go under your baby’s bottom, and other half should come up between legs. Try not to bunch the diaper between your baby’s legs since it can cause chafing and discomfort. For newborns, avoid covering the umbilical cord.
8. Fasten the diaper at both sides with the tapes , making sure it’s snug, but not so tight that it pinches his skin. Check the manufacturer’s instructions for specific tips. Retape the soiled diaper around the contents, put it in a plastic bag and toss it in a trash.
