When you’re in need of a breather, scenic environment, you should try to go south. One of the most popular get away destination in the southern part of Cebu is the most eminent Kawasan Falls in Badian.

Actually I have visited the place thrice. My first time was quite despairing yet unforgettable , the second one was great and romantic and my last visit was really fun and memorable. But on the whole, that three times in a row visit have definitely provided me a well deserving scenery and ambiance.

Before getting to one of the falls picturesque spot you will have to walk 15 to 30 mins. along a very rocky , narrow path and cross three small bridges. Hmmmm…..sounds exciting right?Yup! You still have to travel and get exhausted..just a little but hey..wait until you get to see and enjoy the natural, relaxing, peaceful, cool and deep freshwater which provides a beautiful setting for soul-searching.

One of LLTP’s summer escapade is going to one of the favorite destination in dalaguete.

Obong Spring is a natural spring water with a cold mountain ambiance which flows near the beach where fresh and salty water mixes. It is indeed perfect for an outing with friends or family and a lovely place for taking photos.

At first we were sort of dubious about how fun the spring would be but I’m really such a big sucker when it comes to cold water and for a change I guess this will be another attraction for those who do not want sea adventure anymore.

Exploring these relaxing locations kinda remind me of being young again. And no matter how money has been very tight to us these days, we’re still positive that we can still do something to capture nature’s calmness. Nevertheless, we still end up laughing about how great thooooose days were.
